What does a typical FOB price for office chairs from China look like?
Entry-level task chairs ship at US$22–35 FOB Ningbo. Mid-tier mesh ergonomic chairs run US$45–95. Premium executive seating with sync-tilt and 4D arms lands at US$120–185.
What is the standard MOQ?
Most stock models accept 100–500 pieces. Custom builds usually need 300+ to absorb tooling and setup. Some factories run trial orders of 50 at a 15–20% per-unit premium.
How fast will I get my first quote?
For RFQs submitted through this site, we forward the brief to matched factories within 4 business hours. First quotes typically come back within 24 hours; some categories take 48.
Do you take commission on orders?
No. We earn from optional supplier services (verified badges, promoted listings, project sourcing fees). Buyers never pay us, never see a markup, and contract directly with the factory.
Production & quality
How long is the production lead time?
Stock models: 25–35 days from deposit. ODM customisations add 10–20 days. Tooling for new molds adds 25–40 days upfront.
Can I send a third-party inspector before shipment?
Yes. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, AsiaInspection (QIMA), TÜV — all welcome. Most factories also support AQL self-inspection with photo reports.
What certifications can factories provide?
BIFMA X5.1 (US office), EN 1335 (EU office), BS 5852 (UK fire), CA TB 117-2013 (California), REACH (EU chemicals), CARB (formaldehyde), FSC (wood), CE, FCC, RoHS — by request.

How many office chairs fit a 40HQ container?
Knocked-down packaging: 320–480 chairs depending on model. Fully assembled: 130–210 chairs. Mesh stack-able task chairs hit the upper range.
What payment terms do factories accept?
Standard: 30% T/T deposit, 70% before shipment against B/L copy. L/C at sight for orders above US$100k. Some accept PayPal for sample fees only. Western Union and crypto are red flags.
Which port should I ship from?
Anji factories: Ningbo (1.5h trucking). Foshan: Shenzhen or Guangzhou. Bazhou: Tianjin. Linyi: Qingdao. Hangzhou: Ningbo or Shanghai. We route based on your destination.

Do I need an account to post an RFQ?
No. The RFQ form is anonymous until you choose to share contact details. We never list buyer information publicly.
